The mission of the Brentwood Public Library is to provide a place for the community to connect, learn, and grow; to encourage enjoyment of reading and lifelong learning; to ensure free and open access and expression; and to promote knowledge, history and culture.

Municipal Library Consortium
Brentwood Public Library is one of nine independent community libraries in St. Louis County, Missouri that constitute The Municipal Library Consortium of St. Louis County (MLC).
A valid library card from any of the member libraries can be used in any other MLC library. Your library card opens up to you a collection of over 600,000 volumes which are held by member libraries. Each library operates under its own rules so you will find that loan periods, fines, and any other borrowing restrictions will vary from library to library.
