June Book Club Meeting

16 of us met to discuss Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann. We’re going to need a bigger room! This selection was an enlightening one. We learned about the further atrocities committed against the original Americans. It’s hard to have faith in humanity after reading what people will do in order to get wealth and power. Here are some other selections members are reading:

The Phenomenon by Rick Ankiel

All the Castles Burned by Michael Nye

Educated by Tara Westover

Counting Coup by Larry Colton

Looking for Lost Bird by Yvette Melanson

Swans of 5th Avenue by Melanie Benjamin

August, Osage County (movie/play) by Tracy Letts

Bluebird, Bluebird by Attica Locke

Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate

In the Shadow of Statues by Mitch Landrieu

Assume the Worst by Carl Hiassen

From Ghetto to Glory by Bob Gibson

We’ll be discussing Trajectory by Richard Russo on Tuesday, July 10 at 6:30. Please join our wonderful group. The more the merrier.
